I was born and raised in Nolan County and in Haskell County, where my grandparents lived. Small town life has always been where I wanted to be. I have spent some time in bigger cities like Abilene or Bryan/College Station.
I married right out of high school and within a year of graduating, I was a momma. My oldest was born in 1992, a boy. He was the easiest one out of the three . Four years later, my oldest daughter was born, my mini me. She was the one that gave me my first gray hair. She was definitely mine - attitude and all. Nineteen months later along came the baby girl. Of course by then, she just fell in line with the other two. Now they are all grown and living their best lives. I am Mimi to three beautiful little ladies who belong to my son. I became a single mom when my youngest daughter was only 4 months old. The girls' father went to prison and I was left to raise 3 kids, 2 in diapers, on my own.
I went to school full-time on campus at Victoria College and received my Associate's Degree in Accounting/Bookkeeping. I worked 2 jobs, one a clerk for a Circle K convenient store and the other was as waitress at a local bar. Life was hard but it definitely kept me busy. Later on after my kids were older, I went back to college virtually thru University of Phoenix and started working on my Bachelor's in Business Administration.
Besides bookkeeping, my other passion has been breeding and raising miniature Daschunds. I currently have 3 of my own. All three of my children have a puppy from one of the many litters I have delivered. I just love their personalities and they make great companions. Here are some photos of my pack and puppies we have whelped.

I have worked keeping books for other companies for most of my adult life. In September 2024, I decided to make a change and became a 911 Dispatcher for Haskell County. I love the job and the people I work with, but I miss bookkeeping. I decided to get back to what I love, so here I am, with my own bookkeeping business. I love helping people by reducing their daily stress and encouraging them to grow their business. I plan to continue working as a 911 Dispatcher and building my bookkeeping business until I can no longer juggle the two. I will then step away from dispatching and go full time into my business. As of right now, I work a 40 hour week dispatching and 20-30 hours a week bookkeeping.
Being a remote bookkeeper in the Haskell County Area allows me to service a much larger area than just Haskell County, I have set my main focus to several surrounding counties to include cities like Snyder, Abilene, Sweetwater, Aspermont, Roby, and even Hamlin. But, in all reality, I can technically work with anyone in the US. If you are going to dream....DREAM BIGGG!!!
