Just A Little Bit About Me

I am a remote bookkeeper with deep roots in Nolan and Haskell Counties and a strong appreciation for small-town values. My original goal was to become a CPA, but life had other plans. I married young, became a mother shortly after high school, and eventually raised three children as a single mom. While pursuing higher education full-time was not always possible, I built a long and fulfilling career in bookkeeping—work I have enjoyed for most of my adult life.

I earned my Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Bookkeeping from Victoria College and later continued my education in Business Administration. Over the years, I worked in bookkeeping departments for a variety of businesses, gaining hands-on experience and developing a practical, detail-oriented approach to financial management.

In September 2024, I made a career change and became a 911 Dispatcher for Haskell County. I truly enjoy the work and the people I serve, but my passion for bookkeeping never faded. At the age of 52, I took a leap of faith and opened my own bookkeeping business, allowing me to reconnect with the work I love most—helping business owners reduce stress, stay organized, and build stronger, more confident businesses.

Today, I balance both careers, working full-time as a dispatcher while dedicating 20–30 hours a week to my bookkeeping clients. As a remote bookkeeper, I proudly serve Haskell County and surrounding areas, including Snyder, Abilene, Sweetwater, Aspermont, Roby, and Throckmorton, as well as clients across the United States. My goal is to provide dependable, personalized support so business owners have less financial stress and can focus on growing their business with confidence.
